Выходит очередная книга про Трампа – вот тут про нее пишут, и вот тут, много где, – и главным тамошним откровением является то, что Трамп, как и весь его штаб, были уверены в проигрыше. И что Трамп как бы выигрывать и не планировал, к президентству не готовился, а собирался, наоборот, открывать собственный телеканал.
По-моему, это было вполне очевидно с самого начала. Последний раз я это упоминал месяц назад, например. Отсюда, кстати, и все конспирологические теории про то, что Трамп участвует в выборах по договоренности с Клинтонами – очень уж было похоже местами.
Дико смешно, если подумать. А Хиллари-то каково, проиграть типу, который и выигрывать-то не хотел; это ж уму непостижимо.

In totally unrelated news: в резиденции Клинтонов приключился пожар, загорание произошло в спальне. Подозреваю, Хиллари тоже это все прочитала.
UPD: Быстро выясняется, что в книге очень много вранья – даже для WaPo.
UPD: И для Вокса тоже. И для New Republic. Одним словом, про это все можно забыть, это просто обычная анти-трамповская поделка вроде достовернейших сведений о том, что он кричит на телевизор. Верить нельзя, даже если что-нибудь там кажется правильным.

В комплект к Стивенсу – еще один невер-трампер, Джона Голдберг, сливается в экстазе с либералом из Атлантика, Джеффри Голдбергом. Полное взаимопонимание. Есть впечатление, что консерватизм у этих ребят носил несколько поверхностный характер. Мол, если Евтушенко против колхозов такой человек, как Трамп, проводит консервативную политику, на хрен он сдался, тот консерватизм. У Дженнифер Рубин это еще круче получается.
Забавно выходит: Трамп, никогда никаких консервативных склонностей не демонстрировавший, оказался одним из самых консервативных президентов. А консерваторы, на это глядя, перековываются в либералов, потому что твиты же.

Интересно, как там эта история будет подана. По нынешним временам не было бы ничего удивительного, если бы террористы оказались положительными героями, а израильтяне – отрицательными; из трейлера не понять. Посмотрим.
