The drag queen of all drag queens told Desmond at DragCon 2017 in New York City that he was the "future of America.”
Оно куда круче, чем того же возраста специалист по косметике, хотя жанр примерно тот же. Его рекламируют не в NYT, а в Vogue и Cosmopolitan.
 
 
Desmond, a 10-year-old LGBTQIA activist and self-professed “drag kid” who loves Diana Ross and practices what he calls “kinderdrag.”

Desmond was born in 2007 in New York during Pride Week and says he came out of the closet when he was born. He first developed a penchant for wearing dresses at 6, when he dressed as Elsa from Frozen for Halloween. He has since performed in a music video for RuPaul’s Drag Race contestant Jinkx Monsoon and founded the first drag house exclusively for youth, called the Haus of Amazing.

Вундеркинд, действительно, знает много богатых слов. Разумеется, разбирается он не только в fashion industry, но и в политике. Про Трампа решительное мнение имеет, во всяком случае.

Все-таки дети – удивительный материал, что угодно из них можно сделать. Не могу не отметить, однако, что некоторым родителям своих детей совершенно не жалко. Конкретно эти – просто компрачикосы какие-то. Будь я левым, потребовал бы, чтобы это все немедленно запретили, родителей лишили родительских прав и так далее. Но поскольку я не левый, мне остается только тихо недоумевать, как это все сочетается с испепеляющей повсеместной борьбой против педофилии.
