Democrats wonder and worry: Why isn’t Clinton far ahead of Trump?
They wonder, poor dears.
NEW YORK — With Election Day less than two months away, Democrats are increasingly worried that Hillary Clinton has not built a formidable lead against Donald Trump despite his historic weaknesses as a national party candidate.
В статье полно гипотез – что же мешает Хиллари оторваться от Трампа с его “историческими слабостями”? Гипотезы замысловатые, но наиболее очевидный вариант там отсутствует. Не могут же они написать, что слабости Хиллари носят куда более исторический характер, чем у Трампа, вот и не может оторваться, несмотря на всю королевскую конницу и всю королевскую рать.
Из последних ее достижений, кстати:
“To just be grossly generalistic, you can put half of Trump supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables,” Clinton said. “Right? Racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic, you name it.”
Не напомнит ли кто, отчего “47%” Ромни были таким ужасным гаффом, на котором до самых выборов плясала вся пресса?
