Я его обычно не читаю, он на мой вкус раз в двенадцать многословнее, чем следовало бы, но в кругах либеральных интеллектуалов он вроде бы пользуется определенным авторитетом (возможно, по этой же причине) – вот, может, прислушаются хоть к нему. Хотя вряд ли, конечно.

But you are still crying wolf.
Закономерный нюанс: “I avoided pushing this point any more since last October because I didn’t want to look like I was supporting Trump, or accidentally convince anyone else to support Trump. But since we’re past the point where that matters anymore, I want to present my case.” Ну еще бы. Сгодится, впрочем, и так, раз уж иначе не получилось.
