Про то же самое, про что мы тут говорили, только кратко, внятно и исчерпывающе.

Right now the ostensible target is the legacy of the Confederacy, but once the battle of the Confederate monuments is won, they will move on to the next target, which will inevitably include sooner or later every person in the American political pantheon, and every political, social, and economic institution that reflects the American past and tradition.

The left also masterfully personalizes the conflict, and ruthlessly presents the false choice between being on the side of the angels, or the side of the devils. In the current case, Nazis and white supremacists have been made the face of the anti-left. And now the left–with the assistance of many useful idiots, to whom I will turn in a moment–presents the false choice: if you are anti-left, well, that means that you are a Nazi or a fellow traveler thereof.

This is what’s happening here, and it’s as plain as day. Today it’s Robert E. Lee. Tomorrow it will be Lincoln and Washington and the Constitution and the Founding. The ultimate objective is the delegitimization of the American creed.

What is particularly sickening about this is that the most militant–and violent–of the leftists are being sanitized, and indeed lionized, because of their alleged anti-racist cred: anti-racism has become a license for vandalism and violence.

This is unbelievably stupid, and unbelievably dangerous. Antifa and the like are just the mirror image of the most retrograde white supremacists. Black bandanas=White hoods. Hammer and Sickle (which is displayed prominently at many Antifa and leftist actions)=Swastika. Both are anti-American. Both are anti-liberty. Both are committed to use violence in order to achieve their maximalist objectives. Nazis on the one side, Bolsheviks on the other. And it’s not as if either is hiding it: their regalia and flags advertise it.

Именно поэтому любой, кто надувает моральные щеки или кидается обвинениями в расизме/фашизме/нацизме etc. по поводу false equivalence между клановцами и антифа, в моих глазах может быть только одним из двух: или идиотом, или говном – в силу полной понятности и прозрачности происходящего. Отсюда изменение терминологии, которое почему-то так некоторых впечатлило, и прочая моя вспыльчивость. Наблюдая весь этот вой, все эти требования Трампа импичнуть за то, что он посмел осудить обе стороны, журнальные обложки для интеллектуальной блядь элиты, бесчисленные статьи типа “Every Trump Official With a Conscience Must Resign” и прочее говно, я просто глазам не верю – даже для нынешних либералов, казалось бы, это должно быть слишком; а вот поди ж ты.

Была, помнится, такая программа при советской власти – “Время, события, люди” Или не программа, а серия пропагандистских книг, или еще чего наподобие, не помню уже, но название почему-то помню. Так вот давно уже я не испытывал такого отвращения ко всем трем компонентам этой триады одновременно. Надо бы отвлечься от этой темы, потому что когда про это пишешь, слишком часто приходится употреблять слово “говно”, а мне это надоело.

Например, представить себе марш негров и арабов по городу под знаменем ИГИЛ, выкрикивающих антиеврейские и антихристианские лозунги. Представить себе небольшую организованную группу евреев и христиан, попытавшуюся их побить, и арабского водителя, направившего автомобиль в толпу, с жертвами. Представить себе президента Обаму, говорящего в ответ на это, что он осуждает насилие со всех сторон, но в этом марше было много fine people. Представить себе русскоязычных евреев, утверждающих, что это просто горстка ненормальных, которые имеют полное право на свободу слова, а настоящую опасность представляют те, которые лезли их бить…Уже смешно или еще нет?

Подумаешь, задача. Мы восемь лет на это смотрим, разве что детали чуть отличаются – знамен ИГИЛ нет пока, арабы к BLM пока не присоединялись, мало их еще тут для таких дел. Поэтому вместо арабского водителя был, например, BLM-овский снайпер, убивший пять полицейских. А вот Обама и русскоязычные евреи примерно так все и делали, только гораздо хуже. Так что да, смешно.

Шестое чувство советского человека

Забавное ощущение.

Вот Трамп вчера сказал примерно то же самое, что я написал позавчера. Понятно, перманентная истерика, которая уже почти год заменяет нам политические новости, вышла на очередной новый уровень, и изо всех утюгов раздается истошный вой про Трампа-расиста, который недостаточно осудил одних и посмел осудить других тоже. Описывать все это в деталях никакой нужды нет, все знают, или вон Арбат уже разложил все по полочкам и еще неоднократно разложит, и не он один. Меня тут интересует вот что: я с Трампом согласен тут полностью, а всех его оппонентов в данном случае могу охарактеризовать только фразой “говно исходит на говно”, и то исключительно в силу мощной врожденной вежливости; и вот я поймал себя на том, что мне было стремно про это тут написать. Меня очень мало кто читает, а из тех, что читает, совсем мало кто знает, кто я такой в реальной жизни; мало того, жизнь моя и работа устроены так, что на меня даже стучать никакого толку, если какое-нибудь говно выяснит, кто я и кем работаю. В числе тех, кто меня читает, есть всякие долбоебы, но комментариев от них здесь больше не бывает. Короче говоря, мне ничего не угрожает, мне даже настроение никто испортить не сможет из-за такой записи, не говоря уж про более серьезные неприятности – и то я ничего вчера не написал. Вот собрался с силами и пишу сегодня.

Подозреваю, нас таких очень много. Тьма народу молчит и улыбается, поддакивает всякой безумной сволочи, совершенно охуевшей от безнаказанности, врет в поллах, а потом идет и голосует за Трампа. И вчерашней пресс-конференцией Трамп набрал много очков – не среди нацистов с клановцами, которых с гулькин хуй на самом деле, а среди нормальных людей, которым все эти хунвейбины с их подвигами давно стоят поперек глотки. Только никто об этом не узнает до следующих выборов.

С моей точки зрения, идеальным результатом была бы аннигиляция. Типа, сталкиваются протест белых супремасистов с контр-протестом антифа и прочих юношей со взором горящим, и взаимоуничтожаются до последнего участника. И чтоб так каждый раз, как кто-нибудь из них затеет демонстрировать, пока все не кончатся. Единственная проблема – как избежать случайных жертв; хорошо бы эти демонстрации проводить в чистом поле, конечно.

Ко вчерашнему, про иммиграцию

На этот раз аж Томас Фридман выступил. Аж в NYT. “I’d start by acknowledging a simple fact: Some things are true even if Donald Trump believes them!” – пишет он. И первым пунктом в списке этих некоторых вещей у него что?

We can’t take in every immigrant who wants to come here; we need, metaphorically speaking, a high wall that assures Americans we can control our border with a big gate that lets as many people in legally as we can effectively absorb as citizens.

Metaphorically high wall! Legally! Какие неожиданные и интересные идеи публикует печатный орган ЦК партии. Control our border! Да это, похоже, кампания.

Тонкости колористики

Открыл для себя еще один ресурс, Everyday Feminism. Чрезвычайно познавательный сайт; узнал, к примеру, про колоризм и про то, что в среде BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) происходят оживленные трения относительно того, допускать ли BIPOC с чрезмерно светлой кожей в места, предназначенные только для BIPOC. А то настоящим BIPOC, которые потемнее, от присутствия слишком светлой публики становится не по себе. То есть что должны быть места, куда белых пускать нельзя, сомнений никаких; вопрос в том, пускать ли туда людей, похожих на белых. Совершенно непонятным остается, отчего там до сих пор не требуют свидетельств о расовом составе предков, и почему не меряют черепа. Захватывающее чтение.

Им становится понятно, что open borders и неограниченная иммиграция – не самая выигрышная позиция. Не знаю насчет этого их абсолютизма на деле, но риторику могут и подкорректировать – если, конечно, им там удастся заткнуть всех своих многочисленных акост, да и база у них сейчас такая, что коррекция может и не получиться.

They’re asking governments, utilities, energy companies, and large corporations to increase their use of renewable energy so that you can continue to live your life as you please, without contributing to global warming.

Advocates like Gore certainly have suggested ways individuals can do their part. In 2007, he stated, “The only way to solve this [climate] crisis is for individuals to make changes in their own lives.” But just a year later, he said, “In addition to changing the light bulbs, it is far more important to change the laws and to change the treaty obligations that nations have.” Last month, he said the three best ways are to talk about climate change (which he does), look for environmentally responsible choices when making large purchases (which he does), and support climate-friendly political candidates (which he does). Individual action has never been the focus of his message.

“Again the animals seemed to remember that a resolution against this had been passed in the early days, and again Squealer was able to convince them that this was not the case. It was absolutely necessary, he said, that the pigs, who were the brains of the farm, should have a quiet place to work in.
