Another reform high on the list is removing the state from the marketplace in crucial sectors like health care, transportation and energy and allowing private investment.

Не то чтобы греческие власти внезапно начитались Айн Рэнд; просто их приперло. Налоги они тоже собираются повышать. Как водится, на алкоголь, табак и горючее, а заодно и пресловутый VAT, до 25%.
Кто бы, интересно, смог объяснить Обаме, что хорошо б присмотреться к греческому опыту? Заранее, пока не пришлось НДС в двадцать пять процентов вводить и уходить огородами из Белого Дома. Может, он NYT читает?
