CNBC: FBI probing new Clinton emails

“In previous congressional testimony, I referred to the fact that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) had completed its investigation of former Secretary Clinton’s personal email server. Due to recent developments, I am writing to supplement my previous testimony,” Comey wrote.

“In connection with an unrelated case, the FBI has learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation. I am writing to inform you that the investigative team briefed me on this yesterday, and I agreed that the FBI should take appropriate investigative steps designed to allow investigators to review these emails to determine whether they contain classified information, as well as to assess their importance to our investigation,” he added.

UPD: The Democratic Coalition Against Trump filed a complaint with the Department of Justice Office of Professional Responsibility on Friday against FBI Director James Comey for interfering in the Presidential election, following the FBI’s decision to open up an investigation into Secretary Clinton’s emails this close to Election Day. Federal employees are forbidden from participating in political activities under the Hatch Act.

The political organization of Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe, an influential Democrat with longstanding ties to Bill and Hillary Clinton, gave nearly $500,000 to the election campaign of the wife of an official at the Federal Bureau of Investigation who later helped oversee the investigation into Mrs. Clinton’s email use.

“Early in Clinton’s tenure as secretary of state, she and her staff were observed removing lamps and furniture from the State Department which were transported to her residence in Washington, DC,” an agent on the detail told the FBI.

The agent “does not know whether these items were ever returned to the government,” according to FBI notes.

Клевещет, наверно, агент на Хиллари. Из мести. Да и доказательств, опять же, никаких. Ни тебе видео, как Хиллари, зловеще хохоча, тащит торшеры из Госдепа домой, ни телефонной прослушки, ни точных списков утащенного, найденных в хакнутой переписке Подесты с Блюменталем. Любой разумный человек от этого отмахнется – в NYT же про это не пишут, значит, вранье. А если и напишут, утащенное можно и вернуть, сославшись на недоразумение, опыт есть, на репутации Клинтон такие вещи пятен не оставляют.

Для меня же, как человека неразумного, сведения про свинское обращение Хиллари с телохранителями выглядят не лучше, чем сведения о личном свинстве Трампа. Как говорил Сириус Блэк, цитируя графа Честерфилда, “If you want to know what a man’s like, take a good look at how he treats his inferiors, not his equals.” То есть говорит это о ней, на мой взгляд, хуже, чем даже почтовый скандал, в котором, кстати, тоже продолжаются новости. То выяснится, что люди Клинтон обсуждали с ФБР сделки, чтобы Хиллари получше выглядела, то всякие файлы с клинтоновского сервера обнаруживаются благодаря Блюменталю черт-те где. Разумный человек, впрочем, и от этого отмахнется. “There is no indication from the documents that Mrs. Clinton was aware of the discussion”, рассудительно пишет NYT. Ихтамнет, о чем еще говорить.

И так будет продолжаться минимум следующие четыре года. Очень много божьей росы в атмосфере.
