Bob Woodward says President Barack Obama got some of his facts wrong on sequester at Monday night’s debate.
Вудворт утверждает, что идею секвестра закинули в Конгресс из Белого дома, а Обама, когда говорит, что он такого не предлагал, “ошибается”. То есть врет.
Дальше там, правда, есть версия, что начальство обаминой администрации идею-то в Конгресс запулило, а Обаме доложить не сочло нужным, вот он и уверен теперь, что он тут ни при чем.
Woodward said there’s a possibility the president was unaware of how the idea came about.
“It’s a complicated process — and in fairness to the president — maybe he didn’t know that they were doing this because it’s kind of technical budget jargon,” Woodward said.

Ромни выбрал интересную тактику – был благодушен, величествен и особенно не спорил. Обама был агрессивен и заметно зол. Результат – снэп-полл CNN показывает, что Обама победил со счетом 48:40, и что в результате дебатов больше народу собирается голосовать за Ромни – 25:24. Что, собственно, Ромни и требовалось. По обе стороны, как водится, хватает победных сообщений, для вакханалий и сатурналий в прессе возможностей вроде не видно, там пока ведут себя сравнительно сдержанно. На общих рейтингах эти дебаты если и отразятся, то не слишком, а скорее всего не отразятся вообще.
